A little bit about us... I am a stay at home mom to three children. Ages 10, 3 and almost 2. Our children are involved in many extracurricular activities; hockey, skating, music, and gymnastics to name a few. We are always going and sometimes it makes it difficult to plan meals. I have found that cooking to have left overs is a must if we are planning to eat at home. I am very lucky that I don't have fussy eaters, they will for the most part eat anything. For the past couple of years I have been trying to write down all of our favorite recipes so that I don't forget them. I love to cook and bake for my family. I hope you enjoy my recipes. For the past two years we have been part of the Western Environment's Community Garden.
We have been learning through trial and error the best veggies to grow in our very short growing season. We have found the veggies that do well for us are peas, cabbages, and zucchini. This coming year we are planning to try a few different types of veggies and maybe expand our garden to our own front yard. We are very excited about this coming growing season and trying new recipes to use for. Here are a few pics: |
